HISTORY OF AMERICAN DRESS FROM THE 15TH and 16TH CENTURY THROUGH 1965
Authored by Frances S Howell
Edited by Christopher T Costilow
Assisted by Ruth Weill, Virginia K Costilow, Ann Gahan, Youldon C Howell
This book crosses the bounds between textbook, and very beautiful general interest history. With over fifty wonderful illustrations, this book is a great companion for anyone interested in clothing worn during certain periods of American history, clothing design, costuming, stagecraft, or any of the dramatic arts and industrial designs. While it's primary emphasis is on American clothing from the very beginnings of the country, and the social, economic, technological, necessary changes in clothing design, it also makes a great general reference for anyone interested in American clothing.
History of American Dress from the 15th and 16th Century through 1965 is available in printed as well as electronic formats from Amazon and many other internet and brick and mortar stores worldwide.

Paul Millet/Unbound Productions Present: WICKED LIT

The scope of Wicked Lit is to create and produce new stage plays based on classic horror literature. Wicked Lit launched its inaugural production in 2009 at the haunted Greystone Mansion in Beverly Hills and has also produced a sold-out show at the Biltmore Hotel in conjunction with the Theatre Communications Group National Conference in 2011. We are thrilled to return to Altadena for this year's Halloween season after a sold-out run at Mountain View in 2010. In addition to the creating fully realized productions, Wicked Lit has presented over 70 staged readings of new plays at theatres, libraries, schools, and festivals all over Southern California. These readings have taken place in communities throughout Los Angeles, Orange, and Ventura counties.
Also coming May 11th, HISTORY LIT, in conjunction with the Pasadena Museum of History. For more information and tickets, visit the WICKED LIT and HISTORY LIT sites.
